Massive news regarding the AIB community fund!PsyCare was one of the top 6 charities nominated in Dublin.  We have given a presentation to the AIB judging panel and it is now confirmed that PsyCare has WON the award of €20,000! 🍾

This really is a huge boost, which would not have been possible without the efforts of everyone in our community who asked their friends and family to vote, and also our amazing social media team who ran an incredible public campaign. 👏🏻

What does this new funding mean for PsyCare?

Three exciting developments are on the horizon:

  1. A PsyCare van for the road ahead 🚐

Thanks to this funding, we’re able to top up a previous grant and finally purchase a van! This will be up and running from next season and will significantly streamline our festival logistics – making set-up and pack-down smoother and more efficient 💪🏻

  1. Retiring the gala tents (finally!) 🙌🏻

We’re planning to phase out our labour-intensive gala tents and replace them with structures that are faster and easier to assemble. This means simpler builds and breaks from the 2026 season onward – lightening the load for everyone involved.

  1. Investing in OUR VOLUNTEERS 💛

We’re developing a volunteer wellbeing and engagement strategy for 2026, which will direct funding toward things like somatic integration days, workshops, and social gatherings. Our goal is to support deeper connection, personal growth, and sustainable involvement for all volunteers.

Ultimately, this funding allows us to enhance the PsyCare volunteering experience – making it less physically demanding, and more nourishing, connected, and fulfilling.

Thank you everyone 🙏🏻🙏🏻
