What a beautiful way to bring our festival season to a close: PsyCare Ireland’s inaugural Volunteer Wellbeing and Connection Weekend was held from the 9th to 11th October at the incredibly wonderful Bru Moytura Ecolodge in Sligo.šŸ’š

After a long season full of twists and turns, it was a joy to pause, spend time together and celebrate the wonderful people who make PsyCare possible. A heartfelt thank you to our organising committee for bringing the weekend to life, and to every volunteer, supporter and friend who has helped build this community.

We also got to celebrate bringing home the National Social Enterprise Award šŸ†

Recognition of what can happen when people come together around care, connection and a shared belief that events and festivals can be safer and more supportive for everyone.

PsyCare is a beautiful force in the world: a community helping people when they need it, and working to change the culture of events and festivals for the better. We’re so grateful to everyone who gives their time, energy and care to make that possible.

As we head into the quieter months of winter, we’ll carry the warmth of this weekend with us.

The wheels behind the scenes will keep turning as we plan how to grow this wonderful community and organisation sustainably.

Thank you for being part of it. Here’s to everything we’ll build together šŸ’š
