The NITE Programme

The confidence to care. The skills to help.

Practical education on substance use, mental health, harm reduction and supporting people through distress.

NITE stands for Nightlife Intervention & Training for Empowerment. Developed by PsyCare Ireland, it brings frontline welfare and harm reduction learning into nightlife communities, workplaces, families, professional teams, and communities.

Through accessible information, discussion and realistic scenarios, our workshops build the knowledge and confidence to look after ourselves and support others in many contexts.

Why learn with PsyCare Ireland?

Winner of the Mental Health and Wellbeing category at the National Social Enterprise Awards 2026, PsyCare Ireland brings frontline experience into practical, compassionate education.

Our training draws on supporting people through emotional distress, psychological crisis and substance-related difficulties at festivals and events. Our talks and workshops are informed by real-life situations, the experiences of people who use our services and their feedback, with privacy and confidentiality respected. We turn that learning into accessible, interactive sessions grounded in compassion, harm reduction and respect.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share perspectives and explore how the learning applies to their lives and work. NITE builds confidence to offer initial support, recognise personal limits and connect people with the help they need. It does not qualify participants to diagnose or provide clinical treatment.

Tell us who you work with, the situations you encounter and what you’d like your group to feel more confident doing. We’ll help you choose the appropriate strand and format.
