We are thrilled to announce that we have appointed several Volunteer Engagement Leads whose roles will be to bring our volunteer community together more.
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of PsyCare Ireland – the heart and soul of our mission to create safer spaces and provide care at festivals and events. We wouldn’t be where we are today without their incredible dedication, passion, and empathy. Through the summer months there are a lot of opportunities for volunteers to connect and catch up at festivals, but often these opportunities can wane through the darker seasons - so we want to make sure out community can stay connected all year round!
To kick off the new year, in January we got together to shake off the winter stiffness with an invigorating hike in Ticknock. We were delighted to have blue skies and it was a lovely way to meet and spend time in nature together!
We're planning on plenty more opportunities to get together in person and online throughout the year, so stay tuned to find out more :-)
