PsyCare Ireland, Rethink Ireland, and a mission to help people

At PsyCare Ireland we feel incredibly lucky to have the support of so many good people - we couldn't exist without our core team of volunteers who do the behind the scenes work, or without our huge team of volunteers who attend festivals to help people in crisis. Beyond that we are also lucky to have been awarded grants and supports from some truly amazing organisations, like Rethink Ireland.

Rethink Ireland (previously Social Innovation Fund Ireland) supports the most innovative non-profit organisations working in communities across the country. In the latter part of 2022 we took part in their Start a Social Enterprise Business Course and Pitching Competition where we presented PsyCare Ireland as a viable and worthwhile social enterprise that seeks to help people in Ireland - and we were so happy to have been selected as one of the winners of this competition!

Co-Founder and director of PsyCare Ireland Michael Ledden recently reflected on how helpful their support has been in the past year: "PsyCare Ireland began as an idea that a bunch of people had over coffee, but the Start a Social Enterprise Business Course assisted us to become a formal organisation with a mission and a vision to help thousands of people every year"
