We are delighted to announce that PsyCare Ireland has been shortlisted for the Award of Social Enterprise of the Year for the 2023 All Ireland Community and Council Awards presented by IPB Insurance and LAMA (Local Authority Members Association).
The Awards which will take place on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 from 6:30 pm at the Minella Hotel in Clonmel and we are delighted to be one of five social enterprises shortlisted for this honour!
These awards recognise and celebrate communities and councils working together. They provide a great opportunity to highlight and celebrate the work done within our communities, to reward our unsung heroes and recognise the phenomenal contribution they’ve made to our lives. With over 200 nominated projects expected from all the councils across Ireland in 24 categories, the 2023 awards will be the biggest yet.
We had no idea we were even being considered for this award so to find out today that we have been short listed is just mind-blowing!
As PsyCare so far we have just run on goodwill and donations from our founding trustees and we've just opened our bank account!
Just thinking of all the difference we can make to people in need at Irish Festivals is filling us with immense pride right now and this kind of recognition for our work at this early stage is beyond anything we could have imagined!
We intend to keep plugging away to make Ireland's festivals, music events and clubs a safer and more compassionate place long into the future but we'll enjoy this achievement and awards cermony on the 15th of April whatever happens!
