Mission

Are you a first timer or new to the festival scene in Ireland? Not sure what to expect from your first camping festival or big concert? Worried about your mental health or the mental health of a friend if you attend a festival?

Unsure about what to pack, how you'll handle 3-4 days camping in the crowd or want to know more about the best substance harm reduction information and safety precautions you can take at a festival?

If so this FREE two part webinar might be right for you!

Vision

Our very first course is running in the weeks leading up to Electric Picnic 2024 and aims to equip you with all the relevant knowledge you'll need to have a safe, amazing and memorable time.

​

Run by experienced festival goers (and professionals) for festival goers, this is a first of it's kind course in Ireland and seeks to empower you to safely get the most from your festival expeirence.

​

The course covers two Tuesdays leading up to Electric Picnic 2024 and takes place on Tuesday 6th of August and Tuesday 13th of August.

Each day covers a different topic:

7.30-9.00pm - Tuesday 6th of August: 7.30-9.00pm - Tuesday the 30th of July: Introduction, Surviving the Festival Enviroment 101, What to Pack, Minding your Mental Health at a Festival.

​

7.30-9.00pm - Tuesday 13th of August: Substance Harm Reduction, Drug Trends, Unsafe Combinations, Final Preparation.

PsyCare Ireland: Welfare and Harm Reduction CLG is a Social Enterpise run by professionals and festival lovers who volunteer to give something back to the festival scene in Ireland. Our organisation provides teams of volunteers who are there to look after the mental health of people at music festivals.

​

Our speciality is in supporting people through mental health issues and/or substance induced difficult expeirences. Our harm reduction wing at events is also there to advise people to help them avoid harms at these kinds of events.
