We are very happy to report that PsyCare Ireland has been included as a recipient for the first ever Oakfield Trust Social Enterprise Grant!
Oakfield Trust is an amazing organisation in Clondalkin, Dublin that provides support to other organisations who help the community.
This year marked the beginning of a new grant scheme for social enterprises. "This is a significant milestone for our organization" said Oakfield Trust on their social media, "It’s something that gives us immense satisfaction and we hope that it makes some impact for all our awardees who are very worthy recipients... Running a grant programme like this allows you the privilege of a deep insight into what is an incredibly diverse, committed, and talented sector of individuals and organisations. At times it is simply beyond humbling."
PsyCare Ireland were one of the 11 organisations which were awarded support from Oakfield Trust, a big shout out to our fellow awardees: Aisteach Queer Housing Co-operative, Camden Palace Hotels, Change Clothes Crumlin, Connections Arts Centre CLG, CyberSafeKids, Flip the Script, Helplink Mental Health, Pocket Forests, ReCreate Ireland (Arts and Education Supply Store Limited), and THRIVE Recovery CLG.
A massive thanks to Oakfield Trust for this his support means we can continue to offer much needed harm reduction and welfare supports at festivals in Ireland. This recognition and must needed boost will help us to progress our social impact and move towards our plans to become a social enterprise with charitable status.
