2023 was a big year for PsyCare Ireland - it was our second year in operation and through this season we were on site for 5 full events, we trained over 100 volunteers, and had over 50 get experience out in the field helping 190 guests who came to the tent looking for support. We also rolled out an online training bundle and collaborated with several other events, disseminating harm reduction and welfare information. And we had a volunteer party in Kerry :-)
Behind the scenes, PsyCare Ireland is also busy creating safeguarding guidelines, planning out research studies, and looking at ways in which we can continue to grow in our mission to make events safer for everyone attending.
We've already started putting out the feelers for festivals and events in 2024 and over the winter we will confirm our next volunteer intake.
