As we close off 2024, we wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.
Whether you're reading this as a committee member, a supporter of the PsyCare Ireland organisation, a festival volunteer, or someone who is curious and interested in the work we do (or all of the above) - thank you!
Your support to us this year has been incredibly important, it has helped us to maintain a solid momentum through 2024 and will ensure we go with strength into 2025.
Through the last year the PsyCare Ireland team were on site at 8 different events, and we had 125 volunteers in action who helped almost 300 people who were in distress or having a difficult experience. It was our first year managing multiple teams at different sites on the same weekend, and it was the year we hit a new record running a service at an event with 20000 in attendance.
Between the action at the events themselves, we also trained up 35 new volunteers, and provided countless numbers of people with harm reduction information both in person and online.
Last but by no means least, we were incredibly honoured to be a winner of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland's Impact Award 2024!
You are part of the change in attitude and perspective that is happening in Ireland now, and you are part of the reason why PsyCare Ireland is in a position to continue our mission, so once again, thank you!
