We are delighted to announce that our benefit gig in Dublin on 26th was officially a rip-roaring success.
A massive thank you to The Drifter, R. Kitt, Cáit and OneCanChan who provided tunes on the night, as well as to all the lovely folks who turned out to support PsyCare Ireland into the wee hours. The night was held at Hen's Teeth, an amazing independent events venue in Dublin 8, and we hope to be back there next time we are hosting an event like this!
As well as enjoying amazing company and incredible music, we had the opportunity to kit people out in our latest range of PsyCare tote bags :-) And lucky winners of our raffle on the night were able to go home with tickets to all the best festivals of the summer, including Fuinneamh, Forbidden Fruit, Another Love Story, In the Meadows, and Ealu le Gra.
Through the collective efforts of organizers, volunteers, performers, and attendees, the fundraising target of €5000 was not only met but surpassed, showing the power of a community united for a common cause.
All proceeds from this event will go towards training and vital equipment costs, feeding our volunteers, and other essential overheads. Beyond the monetary achievements, the gig served as a platform for spreading awareness and fostering empathy for our much-needed service in the Irish live music scene!
